Hajji Alejandro is a Filipino singer and actor who was a major pop star in the 1970s and 1980s.[1] An icon in Philippine Music, he came from the group Circus Band, and became the first winner of the Metro Manila Popular Music Festival, with his Ryan Cayabyab interpretation of “Kay Ganda ng Ating Musika”.
Dubbed the “kilabot ng mga kolehiyala” (college girls’ heartthrob), Hajji is best remembered for songs such as “Kay Ganda ng Ating Musika”, “Panakíp Butas” “May Minamahal” “Tag-Araw Tag-UIan”, “Nakapagtataka”, and many more
